The Rendez-Vous Gourmand is fast becoming an unmissable event on the Disneyland Paris calendar. The event takes the gastronomic traditions of France and allows them to shine before the guests of Disneyland Paris during the summer on the beautiful Place de Rémy. This year, for the very first time, more European nations have been invited to join in at the event as it extends into the Hollywood Boulevard area of the Walt DIsney Studios Park.
Ahead of the event, Disneyland Paris have released the menus of the various chalets which this year include delicacies from the French regions of Brittany, Alsace and Provence but also the gourmet traditions from Spain, Italy and Belgium; additionally, a special stand for those wanting to explore Vegan food options will be in the park providing wide-ranging options from Yoghurt to Vegan-Friendly wines.
A perfectly blended menu with lots to discover
What has been created here by Disneyland Paris is a culinary treat that will delight all tastebuds; but also the prices are extremely reasonable which also allows guests to mix and match different foods and try things that perhaps would usually be outside of their comfort zone. Especially pleasing is the chalet dedicated to vegan food options, this is a type of food that, in the past, Disneyland Paris have been slightly weaker at catering towards. In the effort to become a more inclusive resort, these types of gestures are particularly welcome – and on top, the dishes sound extremely tasty!
Taking the festival home with you!
Whilst a beautiful souvenir range has already been designed and announced, for those looking to take home something more culinary the Rendez-Vous Gourmand stands have you covered! Each stand proposes a small range of food items that you will be able to take home and try in the kitchen. These items range from Olive Oil to pastas and tapenade.
A promising second edition of an exciting festival
The first edition of the Rendez-Vous Gourmand came and went in a flash and lasted just two weeks. This year, the festival runs from the 27th July – 30th September meaning that more guests will be able to taste more dishes and discover new foods. The menus look fantastic and special standing tables have been set up across the park.
Summer 2018 at Disneyland Paris is about to get even more tasty!
