Hotel Ibis Val d’Europe Review

Located just next to the Val d’Europe RER station is the Ibis Val d’Europe hotel, this budget-friendly hotel offers a direct and quick access to the parks at a small price. For families and couples looking to do Disneyland Paris on a budget, this could be your answer!

Location

The location of the Hotel Ibis Val d’Europe could not be more convenient for Disneyland Paris as is very handily located next to the second exit of the RER at Val d’Europe (€2 each way to the parks); this quiet corner of Val d’Europe almost seems as if the RER exit exists just for these hotels with not even needing to cross a road in order to access the lobby! It is also just a 5 minute walk from the Val d’Europe shopping centre which hosts a large supermarket and many dining options. If you’re looking to hit the shops during your stay, this area could not be better.

Check-In

Check-in can be done 2 days prior to your arrival using the Ibis website, a link will be sent to you with a short form to complete. The process is so easy and smooth and can be done almost anywhere. Alternatively, you can check-in the old fashioned way in person; the staff in the hotel are very pleasant and will take into account any requests you may have regarding the room.

The Rooms

The rooms are of a good size and include a bed (in this case, a single double bed), desk area, draws and coat hangers and a small sofa area. The bed itself was comfortable and provided me with a fantastic night sleep. The room was quiet and looked on to the carpark as well as some local fields. Whilst I was looking onto the RER track, I could never actually hear these trains passing meaning that there was a good amount of sound insulation in the windows.

Ibis Val d'Europe Rooms

The bathroom took a moment to get used it, it had a almost spaceship quality to it with the entire thing essentially being a plastic pod. However, the shower was very big and the room itself was spacious.

Overall

Overall, I found the Ibis Val d’Europe to be a more than adequate hotel for a quick stay at Disneyland Paris. I cannot complain about anything in the hotel which was clean, comfortable and full of friendly staff. If you’re looking to Disneyland Paris on a budget, then the Ibis Val d’Europe is certainly worth your consideration.
