Whilst it is widely acknowledged that Disneyland Paris is the most beautiful of the castle parks, the photography that seems to illustrate this fact seem to be almost entirely taken in beautiful sunlight. Do not misunderstand dear reader, the park looks at its best under bright blue skies in a hazy summer sunshine. The long days suits Disneyland Paris perfectly, and while each of us will run and hide from the rain, the reflective puddles offer us some unique visions of a beautiful park as well. It is, however, rather rare to expose the world to Disneyland Paris under a snowy white blanket. The park, which never fails to look sublime, takes on a whole new personality and it is spectacular. As Winter begins to transition into Spring, let us take a look back at some snowy spectacular landscapes.
As with most journeys around Disneyland Paris, we begin here in Fantasia Gardens and as the Disneyland Hotel approaches, we can hear the sound of the entrance loop music and the occasional Disneyland Railroad Steam engine horn.
Main Street USA takes us all back to the America of the 1920s, the sights and sounds of the era fill the air.
Central Plaza offers us four options of destination. Thunder Mesa seeks to simulate a western American town booming during the gold rush.
From one extreme to another. Adventureland is a pirate jungle paradise, but during this winter the jungle shifts personality.
Fairytales and fantasies may well be just words on a page, but in Fantasyland they become a vivid as the imagination will allow.
But what of dreams of the future and voyages yet to be undertaken? Visions and dreams of the future take flight in Discoveryland.
Words on a page, stars on a screen. In the Walt Disney Studios Park the two combine.
Time to relax and take a nap? Disney Village and the Hotels have you covered.
One thing remains constant, the Disneyland Paris Cast Members continue to bring joy and happiness to the guests, rain or shine, or snow.
These photos were all taken in the Winter of 2013. Stay tuned for more articles like this in the future.
